Framed by the natural landscape of Parque da Cidade, Soundwich is a play of narratives and metaphors. It begins with its name, intrinsically linked to the sounds of Porto, and ends with the music that surprises in each illustrated package.
The brand, referencing vinyl, serves as a visual alliance to understand this musical dimension.
The concepts of “personalisation” and “identity” inspired the graphic approach to the illustrations and the use of handwritten script. If this handwriting were a typeface, it would be one sensitive to the sounds of words and to jazz, resulting in dynamic curves and unexpected rhythm combinations.
The Soundwich brand coexists within the 1000 Paladares ecosystem in Parque da Cidade, alongside other brands with which it shares visual guidelines. These other gastronomic projects, experimental and sometimes temporary in nature, offer an interesting exercise in both familiarity and individuality from a graphic standpoint. The use of black and white colour blocking in negative space is a constant feature.
