The “Fragulho” (sig. stone) brand project deals with products and experiences linked to the Earth and what can be enjoyed from it. Its main protagonist is the homonymous wine, the result of years of human, atmospheric and geographical experiences, work and dedication. These are the “roots that bear fruit”, the motto of the project, a reference to the family and their stories.

The brand's design connects two concepts: the terraced vineyards, characteristic of the Douro landscape, and the reference to communication and the legacy of past generations, symbolized by quotation marks. It is a synthesis of how we are welcomed by the Fragulho house and its origins.

The project's motto, "roots that bear fruit," reflects its essence. The geographical region in which it is located, the Douro, significantly shapes the brand's personality—strong and enduring, like the terraced slopes where the vines have withstood the test of time for years.

The iconic character featured on the labels symbolizes the moment when humankind makes history by tasting wine, using an object they themselves have crafted. It's an enigmatic image that will spark countless conversations and stories.

The project extended to the entire stationary, communication pieces and brand environments, packaging, labels and exhibition supports. The color is suggestive of the production and tasting environments, colors present in the wine, in the Douro landscape and in the Lagares house, the mother house of Fragulho wines.
